Please don't ever buy a puppy or kitten from a pet store. These animals are raised in "puppy mills" despite what the pet store personnel may tell you. The only way to prevent this ongoing cruelty is to buy only from a reputable breeder, who comes highly recommended. Better yet, "Until there are none, adopt one."
