Let's do all we can to prevent dog bites. Homeowner's insurance companies are imposing restrictions on the type of dogs we can own and cancelling policies for homeowners who won't comply. I had a neighbor with an elderly part Rottweiler who lost his home insurance. That dog never hurt a flea and at an advanced age was unlikely to become a problem for the pet owner or the insurance company. Don't let our insurance companies determine what kind of dog we can own.
