We need to convict animal abusers!

This is one of the worst cases of animal cruelty I've ever seen - a horse doused with a flammable substance and set on fire. The individual(s) responsible for this heinous act deserve the maximum penalties - and far too often animal cruelty is a misdemeanor and not a felony. Ask your legislators to enforce animal cruelty statutes and to impose maximum criminal penalties. I also heard about another case today, in the Orlando area, where a neighbor shot two dogs who came onto his property. One died, the other is severely injured. On what planet do these people live where they think they can simply take the life of an innocent animal?
